~ Baby's Beginning ~

Gorgeous baby girl Aileana started out as an adorable "Welcome Home Emily" sculpt by renowned artist, Linda Webb

She is so amazing and true to life. Aileana is a gorgeous baby girl.  I really enjoyed working with such a realistic sculpt,

~ Baby's Skin Tones ~

Aileana's beautiful ''Life Like'' complexion was created with Genesis heat-set paints in many thin layers to create a mottled skin tone effect.

I feel that I have achieved a technique overtime that is my own and I strive to make every one of my babies look realistic,

Not one crease from her head to her tiny toes has been overlooked
every little detail has been shaded and blushed in all the right places.

Baby Aileana has had special armatures put into her arms and legs to make her very poseable

~ Baby's Body ~

Aileana has been given her original jointed body which has been
redone with new stuffing and posing armatures specially for her here at Baby Cre8tions Nursery.

Her well proportioned body has been filled and weighted with
fiberfil, poly pellets and glass granules for a very
realistic baby weight which makes her very easy to pose and for that real baby feeling when you hold her.

Her 1/4 length soft vinyl limbs have been weighted with glass granules and fibre fill.

Her petite head has also been weighted, but please remember to
gently support it when she is picked up.

Aileana also has had 2 magnets inserted for her paci and hair bow.

~ Baby's Beautiful Hair ~

Baby Aileana has the most gorgeous head of baby fine hair which has been micro rooted with a curly, soft mixed browns, top quality mohair from diamond_desert of eBay,

Aileana's hair has been sealed on the inside this enables you to lightly dampen her hair which you can then softly comb and style how you would like.

~ Eyes, Nose, Mouth & Nails ~

Baby Aileana eyes have been delicately framed with gorgeous mixed brown eyelashes to match her beautiful hair.
Her nose has been gently opened and backed with dark felt for
extra depth and realism.
Her little lips have been shaded to a more natural colour and have been sealed in gloss varnish for protection. 
Her 10 tiny fingers and 10 tiny toes have had a manicure with the very tips hand painted in off white which have been sealed in
permanent varnish for a freshly cut baby look.

This baby was an absolute pleasure to reborn, as with all my other babies a lot of love, time and patience has gone into creating this absolutely beautiful and realistic baby,

I hope her new family will love her as much as I do myself
and will cherish her for many years to come.
